Viagra Soft is a medication that is used by men experiencing problems with erectile function. The drug helps to get and sustain a healthy erection sufficient for sexual intercourse.

Active ingredient: sildenafil. When you place an order, you confirm that you are familiar with this active substance and the right dosing regimen. Consult a specialist prior to the intake. Seek medical help in case of any adverse reactions to the drug.

Properties

Viagra Soft is a generic medication. It belongs to the class of PDE5 inhibitors and acts by stimulating the flow of blood to the pelvic organs via dilation of the penile arteries and relaxing the smooth muscles of the penis. An erection will appear only if a man gets enough sexual stimulation and feels sexually aroused.

Dosage and administration

Viagra Soft pills are produced in 50mg and 100mg strengths. The dosage form of the drug is a sublingual tablet which should be dissolved in the mouth. Thanks to such a method of intake, Viagra Soft starts acting in 15-40 minutes. Fatty foods can significantly delay the start of its action so you should take it into account.

In case you only start the therapy with Viagra Soft, use a 50mg dose. Depending on your response to the drug, you may stay on it or increase the dose to 100mg prior to sexual activity. Never use more than 100mg of sildenafil per 24 hours. Viagra Soft works during 4-6 hours.

Interaction with other drugs

The medication can be dangerous if used together with:

  • Nitrate drugs;
  • “Poppers”;
  •  Antiretroviral medicines;
  • Some antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole);
  • Some antibiotics;
  • Antihypertensives;
  • Other PDE5 inhibitors.

These are not all possible interactions. Talk with a doctor to get full information.

Intake with caution

When prescribing Viagra Soft, special attention should be paid to the patients aged 65 and older as they may need the dose to be adjusted. Intake of any other medications during the treatment with Viagra Soft should be discussed with a doctor.

Viagra Soft may cause dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision and other symptoms related to low blood pressure. Contact your attending doctor if any unwanted reactions occur. It should be noted that Viagra Soft doesn’t protect from STIs (including HIV).

Priapism is one of the very rare but possible side effects of the medication. In case you have an erection that doesn’t go away for more than 4 hours or if it is painful, seek medical attention immediately.

Inform your doctor about any other health conditions you have to minimize the risks of experiencing severe adverse reactions. Be careful with drinking alcohol when on Viagra Soft as its large amounts may intensify the manifestations of some unwanted reactions.

Contraindications

Viagra Soft is not recommended in patients with:

  • An allergy to sildenafil or other ingredients of the drug;
  • Heart health problems, which make excessive physical activity dangerous;
  • Severe hypotension (under 90/50mmHg) or hypertension;
  • Kidneys or liver dysfunction;
  • Stomach ulcer;
  • Heart attack or heart surgery in medical history;
  • Cases of priapism in medical history.

Besides, Viagra Soft is not intended for use in women and children. It is not recommended to apply the preparation together with grapefruit and grapefruit juice as their interaction may quickly increase the concentration of sildenafil in the blood and provoke an overdose.

Side effects

Approximately every third patient experiences at least one of the Viagra Soft side effects. Most commonly reported are:

  • Flushing;
  • Headache;
  • Nasal congestion;
  • Heartburn;
  • Inability to differentiate between green and blue colors;
  • Back pain;
  • Myalgia;
  • Dizziness.

The listed symptoms are usually mild and go away as soon as the effect of the drug wears off. Severe unwanted reactions are extremely rare. They are a partial or complete vision or hearing loss, low blood pressure, priapism, symptoms of the heart attack.

Overdose

If you have taken more of Viagra Soft than you are prescribed, report to the nearest medical centre. The symptoms of overdose are the same as common adverse reactions to the preparation, yet they may appear more often and be severer.

Missed dose

This medication should be taken only when you plan to have sexual activity. You do not have to take it regularly. That’s why it is not likely that you can miss a dose.

Storage

The recommended temperature of the drug storage is 20-25°C. Keep it away from moisture and heat. Make sure the drug cannot be reached by children and pets.

Toxicity

In clinical trials, no toxic effects of sildenafil have been revealed if taken as recommended.

Customised care

At your initial examination your Atlas Orthogonist (AO) will want to find out as much as possible about you and your lifestyle so we can plan a personalised course of therapy. The length of the course will depend on how long you have suffered from abnormal conditions and how severe they have been.

Listening to your story

Examining your case history will include understanding your symptoms and when they first appeared – perhaps an unusual activity, a fall or a seemingly-minor accident might have triggered the pain. Other related health problems – headaches, pains in the arms, shoulders, lower back, legs or buttocks – could be pointing to a misalignment in the cervical spine.

Looking at your body

Next, your AO will perform a series of tests to track the cause of your pain – this will include X-rays and a physical examination. Using specially designed instruments, we will detect and measure the precise nature of your atlas misalignment, establishing the exact adjustment needed to correct it.

After this initial analysis, your AO will go over the findings with you, explaining your recommended course of treatment and what you can do to improve the therapy.

The treatment

Each appointment is five to 10 minutes long. In these sessions, your specialist will use the AO instrument to adjust your atlas and relieve the pressure on your nerves. Afterwards we will take more X-rays and conduct another physical exam to see how you’re improving.

A gentle change

Patients who have been to other doctors before often expect forceful manipulation or even invasive procedures. In contrast, the AO method applies safe and painless percussive soundwaves to begin the restoration of the spine’s natural balance. As your body heals you should soon experience signs in response to the spinal correction:

  • Easing of the original symptoms
  • Tiredness or sleepiness
  • Muscle stiffness or soreness in a different part of your body
