Viagra Oral Jelly can be used for the therapy of erectile dysfunction in men who have difficulties with swallowing tablets.

Active ingredient: sildenafil. By placing an order, you confirm that you are familiar with this active component and know about the right dosing regimen. It is better to consult a doctor before you start treatment. At the occurrence of any unwanted reactions to the drug, seek medical help.

Properties

Viagra Oral Jelly is a medication from the class of PDE5 inhibitors. It acts by enhancing the flow of blood to the penile area, thus providing a firm and lasting erection, which is good enough for sexual activity. The drug works for 4-5 hours. Its effect can be triggered by sexual stimulation or sexual desire. The drug won’t work without it.

Thanks to the jelly form of the drug, it can be used by men of older age and those having difficulties with swallowing tablets. Another benefit of this form of the drug is the diversity of the tastes. Viagra Oral Jelly is available in more than 10 flavors (e.g. apricot, cola, honey, banana, strawberry, and lots of others).

Dosage and administration

The same as other Viagra-line medicines, Viagra Oral Jelly should be taken only when you plan sexual activity. Take the jelly about 30-60 minutes prior to the intercourse to get the best result. Open the sachet and consume content altogether. Wash it down with water if needed.

Viagra Oral Jelly is manufactured in two strengths – 50mg and 100mg. Men aged 65 and older are advised to take a 50mg dose. The same is true for those who only start their treatment with sildenafil. In case the effect achieved is not the one you have hoped for, the dosing regimen may be changed to 100mg of sildenafil per day. It is the highest safe dose of Viagra Oral Jelly so you should never exceed it.

Interaction with other drugs

There are a lot of medications that can dangerously interact with Viagra Oral Jelly. For example:

  • Nitrate drugs can cause a severe fall in the blood pressure and lead to life-threatening consequences;
  • HIV-protease inhibitors can increase the risks for side effects as they stimulate a sudden increase in the level of sildenafil in the blood;
  • Azole antifungals can interfere with sildenafil clearance from the organism, thus leading to an overdose.
  • Riociguat may intensify the effects induced by Viagra Oral Jelly and thus provoke loss of consciousness or even heart attack or stroke.

There are some other unsafe sildenafil interactions. Consult a specialist for more information.

Intake with caution

Viagra Oral Jelly is considered to be a safe drug. Still, some patients may be more prone to experiencing unwanted effects to the medication because of the following health conditions:

  • Coronary artery disease, angina;
  • Elevated blood pressure;
  • Low blood pressure.

Blood cell disease, as well as bleeding disorders and penile deformation, can increase the risks for experiencing priapism. Only a doctor can decide whether Viagra Oral Jelly can be used by men having any of these health problems.

Intake of alcohol should be limited to 3 drinks a day as its larger amounts may elevate the risks for adverse reactions.

Contraindications

There are only a few categories of patients who should never use Viagra Oral Jelly. They are:

  • Women;
  • Men under 18 years old;
  • Men with an allergy to sildenafil or any other ingredient of the jelly;
  • Men suffering severe cardiovascular issues which make physical load dangerous to life;
  • Men with NAION or retinitis pigmentosa;
  • Men whose blood pressure is lower than 90/50 mmHg or higher than 170/110 mmHg.

Intake of Viagra Oral Jelly is also not recommended to individuals with a recent history of stroke, heart attack, and heart surgery. In addition, this medication should not be taken by men who have ever had an erection lasting more than 4 hours or painful erection.

It is also contraindicated to drink grapefruit juice when on Viagra Oral Jelly. This product alters the way sildenafil is metabolized in the duodenum and may cause its excessively high levels in the blood flow. Thus, it may lead to an overdose.

Side effects

Viagra Oral Jelly as any other medication has a certain potential for inducing side effect. Among common reactions to the drug are:

  • Heartburn;
  • Diarrhea;
  • Headache;
  • Nasal stuffiness;
  • Vision alterations;
  • Dizziness;
  • Flushing.

Such reactions are short-termed and there’s no need to see a doctor. However, if the symptoms you experience persist or get worse, report to the nearest hospital.

Overdose

Increased frequency and higher severity of Viagra Oral Jelly side effects are common signs of overdose. Seek medical help in case you experience any serious unwanted reactions.

Missed dose

Viagra Oral Jelly should be taken only prior to the planned sexual activity. Thus, you can’t miss the dose as no intercourse will be possible without the drug.

The medication doesn’t require any special storage conditions. Please, do not use the drug after the expiration date. Keep Viagra Oral Jelly away from children and pets.
