Viagra is one of the most effective and popular preparations for the treatment of erectile dysfunction symptoms. It helps to improve the symptoms of erectile dysfunction, thus providing men with a firm and lasting erection, which is enough for performing sexual intercourse.

The active ingredient is sildenafil. By placing an order, you confirm that you have knowledge of what sildenafil is and are familiar with its correct dosing regimen. We recommend getting a consultation with a doctor first and seek immediate medical help in case you develop any side effects to the drug.

Properties

Viagra is a medication belonging to the class of PDE5 inhibitors. It acts by relaxing the smooth muscles of the cavernous bodies of the penis and widening the penile blood vessels. Due to this, the organ can be filled with sufficient amount of blood to guarantee a strong and durable erection. The effect of sildenafil can be noticed only when a man gets adequate sexual stimulation and feels sexual arousal. Otherwise, the effect will be absent. Such a property of the drug makes an erection look absolutely natural so the partner won’t know about your problem.

Dosage and administration

To determine the right dosing regimen, it is important to consult a doctor because every case is unique. The recommended starting dose of sildenafil is 50mg about an hour before sexual activity. However, the drug can already start acting in 30 minutes. A high-fat meal will delay Tmax of sildenafil concentration in plasma for up to 60 minutes. So it is better to take the pill on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.

If the effectiveness of the tablet is low, the dose can be increased to 100mg, yet it is the maximum safe dose recommended per 24 hours. On the contrary, when the result is too strong or you have experienced any adverse reactions, the dosage may be reduced to 25mg. Men over 65 are commonly advised to start with 25mg as their risks for side effects are higher.

Interaction with other drugs

Before you start using Viagra, inform your medical specialist about the drugs you currently take as some of them can dangerously interact with sildenafil. They are as follows:

  • Nitrate drugs;
  • Recreational drugs “poppers ”;
  • Alpha-blockers;
  • HIV-protease inhibitors;
  • Azole antifungals;
  • Certain antibiotics;
  • Antihypertensive medications;
  • Other PDE5 inhibitors.

Usage with caution

Certain health problems may increase the risks of Viagra side effects. That’s why this medication should be applied with caution in patients with some underlying medical conditions (e.g. elevated blood pressure, diabetes, etc.). Tell your doctor about all the health issues you have or have ever had.

Elderly patients and individuals having kidneys or liver disease may need their dose to be adjusted based on their health condition.

Intake of alcohol is allowed when on sildenafil, yet it should be limited to not more than 3 drinks a day. Larger doses can decrease the effectiveness of the preparation and increase the probability of serious adverse reactions.

Contraindications

Viagra is a rather safe drug, still, it is not recommended to be used it in men with:

  • Severe kidneys or liver dysfunction;
  • Penile deformities;
  • Uncontrolled hypertension;
  • Heart surgery, myocardial infarction or stroke in recent medical history;
  • Stomach ulcers;
  • Severe cardiovascular issues, which make sexual activity dangerous to life;
  • Severe hypotension (lower than 90/50mmHg);
  • Allergy to sildenafil or any inactive ingredient of the drug.

Besides, it is not recommended to be used in children under 18. Viagra is not intended for women; but the use of sildenafil is possible in female population for other indications.

Side effects

According to various data, from 20% to 30% of men experience at least one side effect connected with Viagra intake. They are mostly light-to-moderate and go away as soon as the effect of the drug wears off. Common reactions are:

  • Headache;
  • Flushing;
  • Diarrhea;
  • Heartburn;
  • Nasal stuffiness;
  • Back pain;
  • Pain in the muscles.

Among rarer reactions are dizziness, tiredness, color blindness, blurred vision, nausea, priapism. This list is not complete so talk to a doctor to learn the details.

Overdose

The symptoms of overdose are no different from the common side effects, yet their incidence is higher. If for some reasons you’ve taken too much of sildenafil, seek medical attention promptly.

Missed dose

Sildenafil is not intended for daily intake. It should be taken only before an anticipated sexual intercourse so missing the dose is not possible.

Storage

The drug should be stored at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. Make sure it is out of reach of children and home pets.

Toxicity

In clinical trials, sildenafil hasn’t shown any potential of toxicity when taken in therapeutic doses.

Whole body wellbeing

The problems most commonly associated with a misalignment of your spine are chronic backpain, neckpain, migraines or fatigue. In addition to these, the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) adjustment can help your body with a multitude of health problems. Some of the main problems related to an atlas misalignment include:

Headaches

The neck, or cervical spine, is home to two critical systems – the vertebral arteries and the brain stem. When your atlas is misaligned, it can cause interference to the brain stem or blood flow to the brain. This can create painful pressure headaches, backache, chronic fatigue, and the dizziness and nausea associated with migraines.

Backache and chronic fatigue

The entire spine is a tunnel of interlocking vertebrae that protect the spinal cord which, together with the brain, forms your central nervous system. There are spaces between each vertebra from where nerves (extensions of the spinal cord) reach throughout the body regulating and controlling your bodily functions.

The nervous system can be compared to a highway which needs to be well maintained to keep traffic running smoothly. Just like a motorway, when the nervous system is out of kilter, you’ll start to experience ‘blockages’ which manifest themselves as illness, persistent pain or tiredness. Realigning the atlas bone can help improve or correct many spinal misalignments, promoting a healthier nervous system and better all over body function.
